ARC Raiders Titan Boss Guide: Weakpoints, Squad Tactics, and Elite Loot Drops
The signature encounters in ARC Raiders are the colossal ARC Titans—gargantuan, multi-legged robotic war machines that patrol the wasteland surface. Defeating a Titan offers the rarest crafting materials in the game, but requires synchronized teamwork and tactical precision.
1. Understanding Titan Mechanics
Titans are heavily armored and immune to conventional small-arms gunfire on their main chassis. To deal lethal damage, squads must target Exposed Heat Sinks and Joint Actuators.
Key Weakpoint Locations:
- Rear Cooling Vents (Glowing Orange): Open temporarily after the Titan unleashes its heavy laser cannon.
- Knee Joint Servo Motors: Concentrated fire on these joints causes the Titan to collapse into a vulnerable stagger state.
- Optical Sensor Array: Blinding the Titan's sensors forces it to fire wildly, giving your squad time to reposition.
2. Dealing with the "Third-Party" Threat
The greatest danger when fighting a Titan isn't the machine itself—it's rival player squads waiting nearby to steal your kill and loot your corpses.
Tactical Rule: Always assign one squad member to Overwatch. While two players bombard the Titan, the third player scans surrounding ridgelines for approaching enemy Raiders.
